Pink Party Returns to Castro

2015-06-18_095030Into every Pride Weekend a little PINK must fall! PINK PARTY returns to the Castro on Saturday, June 27th with a NEW TIME – 3PM to 8PM.

Five blocks of DJs, drag and live acts on four stages (more details TBA), food trucks and a new VIP area – PINK PARTY celebrates a long-time Castro District tradition of bringing a fabulous, queer and community-focused street party to raise money for local, LGBT non-profit organizations.

Bring your fiercest self and wear your pinkest finery. We would love to see everyone donate at least $10 at the gate. By pre-registering you will able to join faster entry lines – PINK PASS gets you 50% off cover at QBar, Beaux, Midnight Sun and The Edge. CASTRO VIPs will receive the 50% cover discount and access to a sweet VIP area behind the Castro Theatre, complete with VIP restroom facilities and light refreshments.

This all-ages event is alcohol and substance free, street level and fully accessible. ADA compliant bathroom facilities will be available. No one turned away for inability to donate.

Where do I enter the event?
• Directions and maps will be forthcoming. All registered emails will receive this information before the event.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
• No! Everyone is welcome.

Are you required to donate to enter the event?
• No. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
• Due to the high volume of visitors to San Francisco, we highly encourage all visitors to take public transportation to the event. The Castro Street MUNI station will be open and functioning for the duration of the event. To find out more information on existing public transportation routes in San Francisco as well as any Pride weekend related service changes, please visit the MUNI website at www.sfmta.com.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?
• Alcohol is not permitted at the event. Any open containers will be confiscated.

Will there be food?
• Yes! We will have vendors at this event. Restaurants in the Castro District will also be open.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
• You do not need to bring your printed ticket to the event.

Where does the money generated in tickets sales go?
• Your donations will go to support the work of LGBT nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area.
