A creationist is now lighting up ‘Noah’s Ark’ permanently to ‘take the rainbow back’ from LGBTI people.

The theme park in Northern Kentucky is known for promoting creationist Christianity, and its claimed ‘full-size’ replica of Noah’s Ark.

Owner of the so-called ‘history museum’, Ark Encounter, Ken Ham, has announced their main attraction will be lit up with the colors of the rainbow – permanently.

‘The Ark Encounter is lit permanently at night with a rainbow to remind the world that God owns the rainbow and it is a sign of His covenant,’ Ham said.

‘The rainbow is a reminder God will never again judge the wickedness of man with a global flood – next time the world will be judged by fire.

‘Christians need to take the rainbow as we do.’

Ham had previously lit up ‘Noah’s Ark’ over the Christmas period last year.

He said at the time: ‘‘In recent times the rainbow (albeit with some different colors) has come to represent something far different.

‘To many people it means freedom, love, pride, a new era, and, specifically, the LGBTQ movement. Indeed when the US Supreme Court legalized gay “marriage” last year, the White House was lit up in rainbow colors.

‘Sadly, people ignore what God intended the rainbow to represent and proudly wave rainbow-colored flags in defiance of God’s command and design for marriage.

‘Because of this, many Christians shy away from using the rainbow colors. But the rainbow was a symbol of God’s promises before the LGBTQ movement—and will continue to be after that movement has ended. As Christians, we need to take the rainbow back…
