Ezra Miller arrested for attacking singers at a karaoke bar

Police in South Hilo, Hawaii arrested film star Ezra Miller after harassing patrons at a karaoke bar.

The New York Post reports that Miller, 29, best known for roles in Justice League and the Fantastic Beasts film series, landed in custody under official charges of disorderly conduct and harassment. Miller later posted $500 bail and was released.

“During the course of their investigation, police determined that the man, later identified as Ezra Miller, became agitated while patrons at the bar began singing karaoke,” read the Hawaii Police Department report.

“Miller began yelling obscenities and at one point grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke (disorderly conduct offense) and later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts (harassment offense). The bar owner asked Miller to calm down several times to no avail.”

Miller identifies as queer, having dated both men and women, and considers themself gender fluid/nonbinary. They will next appear in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore due out next month.
