"Thank you, Mr. Vice President, for your support throughout your life of non-discrimination policies and your commitment to 'Justice for All.' I look forward to working with you in the future on these issues," said Steve Driscoll, NSDF Board Member from Pembroke, Massachusetts.

Gore assured NSDF members of his dedication to ending discrimination and spoke of a new America where we can "Expand the circle of human dignity."

"I think that the Board of NSDF and the Vice President were pleased with the dialogue and outcome of this meeting," said Michael Perez, Board Co-Chair from Arlington, Virginia.

"This was a historic event: we were asked to meet and discuss issues with the possible future President and leader of the free world. Gore understands the importance of inclusion and equality," said LaQuetta Nelson, NSDF board Member from Montclair, New Jersey.

"We understand that for the future of civil rights protections and full equality we must elect a Democrat to the White House. 'The Democratic candidates on their worst day are still better than the Republican candidates on their best days," added Michael Milliken, NSDF Board Member from Dallas, Texas.
