Pat Robertson Warns The Wrong People

robttornado.gif - 12.68 K It has barely been a year since televangelist and national kook, Pat Robertson warned city Officials in Orlando, Florida of impending doom from storms and other forms of "God's vengeance" because the city officials had decided to allow rainbow flags to be placed on city property during Gay Pride Week. In light of today's news, it seems that Mr. Robertson was out of touch with God and God's plan for vengeance.

Several tornadoes ripped their way across Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas (an area perhaps better known as the "BIBLE BELT"), causing massive destruction. In light of these storms, it seems the people that God truly had in mind for His vengeance were the intolerant, militant Christians of the Baptist faith.

One of the largest Baptist Churches in Oklahoma was left a mass of twisted steel and debris by the violent storm. In Haysville, Kansas, the Victory Baptist Church was wiped away by one of the tornadoes. Apparently God could not get rid of enough Baptist Churches with just one tornado, so He whipped up several simultaneous storms to send His message.

As mere humans, we can only speculate why God would be so angry with the Baptists. But, in view of the Baptist's recent vocal criticism of "the homosexual lifestyle," we can assume that God was trying to send a clear message that intolerance is not part of His plan, and that the Baptists have ventured far away from the true word of God.

God rattled their buildings to the ground, but spared most of their lives. Perhaps if they keep preaching their brand of hatred, in the name of God, then the Lord may not be quite so tolerant of them next time. It is my guess that these stubborn Christian idiots will have to endure more of God's devastation before they get the message.

Two Sides of the Bigot's Spigot

anti-gaytvads.gif - 9.59 K I just finished scanning through your "TV Stations Refuse Religious Reich's Anti-Gay Ads" article.

Am I to understand that these people, the same kind of people who are bitching and moaning about Budweiser running a gay ad in a GAY magazine, are crying censorship because a TV station doesn't want to run an ad that really IS promoting a mentally unhealthy, hateful mindset?

Do they not realize that their ad, unlike the Bud ad they're trying to get rid of, is invasive and being thrown in the face of people who really don't want to hear their unnecessary blithering? OK, we get their point. They believe that homosexuality is wrong and can be "cured."

Believe what you want, but please don't try to make me believe it because I won't. If somebody wants their "help" they know where to find these people and I'm sure they'll go to them.

Their pushiness only damages them and makes them look like fools.

cavedweller.jpg - 8.84 K Greetings, Gay Today Magazine,

Dorothy Allison's second novel, Cavedweller, has become a New York Times bestseller. It is a sweeping story of the human spirit that maps the unexplored recesses of the human heart, and the lives of four women -- a mother and her three daughters -- at a place where violence, and what redeems it, intersect. Chat with Allison, one of America's greatest storytellers, in the NetCafe Live on May 26, hosted by Borders.com and Talk City.

AIDS Scammer Goes Down in Flames

aidsscams.gif - 19.63 K Please remove my P.O. Box info and my web page information from GayToday's article "Major AIDS Scam?" The article was a blessing and so are you. The article was directed to those who bought vaccines. The scam sold to terminal patients…they die and no witnesses, no response. See www.suzannehenig.com web page put up for news media. Quackwatch trashed Suzanne Henig. I exposed her. She pulled her site off yesterday. Thank you.
