Calling All Unhappy Catholics
A Salt Lake City woman who has been collecting letters from Mormons who are unhappy with the their church's involvement in anti-gay issues, has volunteered to collect letters from Catholics as well. Members or former members of the Roman Catholic church are urged to write letters telling the church how unhappy they are about the church's work to limit the civil rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people. Catholics who no longer wish to be connected to the church are urged to write letters telling the church that they no longer wish to be members. But not Lush. No he sees a 'hidden agenda'. So like "Tinky Winky", the innuendos are there. Bill is with 90,000 women at the Stadium and is orgasming to the hilt, while stating this is the most 'phenomenal sports' event he's ever been at. But like Falwell, Lush sees these 'tomboy' women on the team as the wrong 'role models' and that really what we are seeing is the 'Gay' agenda to take over sports, and their monies and their being 'role models' for little girls who will all grow up and be lesbians. Well, who else but a Lesbian would behave like Brandi Chastain did after scoring the clinching kick and then take off her shirt and expose a Nike bra? Nike of course got 46millions in the U.S. to identify with this product on t.v. for free, and the immoralists, intolerants, and idiots of the miserable minority and their fascist sexism went off their rockers once again screaming about all of this. Of course, I was watching the game in Laurel, Md. and noted in a sports bar there, that after I got a big TV going, and 7 others joined with me, there were 8 TV sets going and we were all cheering and all very happy with the results, and none of this was on people's minds. But I did notice that the ABC cameraman only focused on two women the whole time, who were either relatives or girlfriends or wanted them to be, but the real nasty clincher was that the world's best goalkeeper Churry, who is also black, was ignored in receiving her medal. Every other player who was white, got pictured getting their medal and kissed by two white men in the receiving line and the goalie was missed, and she was in the middle so we never saw the medal placed around her neck or that two white men did or didn't kiss her for her efforts and then ABC conveniently came back to all the other white players following the goalie with their medals hung around the neck and 'kisses' from the two white men. This is the same ABC who has Lush, Dr. Laura dictator of psychobabble, Sludge and all the other Wing Nuts on its networks that has played a key role in the whole witchhunting scandal. So when I read in Florida Today (7/13/99), how sports columnist Peter Kerasotis is off the wall with Chastain's removal of her shirt, and he quotes USA Today (also a Gannett paper) "She shoots! She scores! She rips off her jersey"...or Gwen Knapp of San Francisco Examiner (S.F.Examiner also supported Anita Bryant in 1977),"Who would have guessed that America's proudest moment this summer would come when 90,000 people watched a woman take her shirt off?"....or Jay Marriotti of Chicago Sun-Times:"the symbolism (of ripping off the shirt) is heavy and the statement potent"...it's obvious that this 'bra' will someday go into the Smithonian or fetch a ton of money but the 'hidden agenda' issue of all of it, is that no normal woman would do such a thing, certainly no GOP woman, and certainly no woman in Jerry Falwell's congregation would do such a thing, and it's all a 'lesbian conspiracy' to undermine the poor children who have yet to recover from the Starr Report on Oral Sex.
One talk show host, Mike Gallagher, went berserk about an LA Times interview with the goalie who admitted to 'cheating' which all goalies do in moving and not getting caught and he said she should return the trophy gotten by this rotten cheating and this thing about 'it's only cheating if you get caught', is what Clinton said, and this is the way America thinks and it's all the fault of the Clinton's. Chastain was probably waving her tee-shirt for Big Bill in his booth. Maybe they already 'scored' goals way before this game. Why hold back on this fertile insanity from the "Tinky Winky" maniacs out there? After writing this, I think I'll have a drink to calm my last nerve.
