Dull Old Dr. Laura
That mean old Dr. Laura has turned into that dull old Dr. Laura. The result is a television talk show that sounded like it would be a hot potato but plays more like cold pizza. Whenever we're asked about it, we tell people a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush. David Smith--spokesman for the Human Rights Campaign quoted in the San Francisco Chronicle—“Women, Gays Say Nader Not Defending Their Rights” September 14 NAMBLA and the ACLU August Cisar alleges that by providing legal representation to NAMBLA in a Massachusetts lawsuit, the American Civil Liberties Union is defending pedophilia. Mr. Cisar fails to understand that defense of free speech does not represent defense of the content of the speaker's message, and that in representing NAMBLA's right to maintain a Web site advocating its views, the ACLU does not advocate sexual relationships between adults and children. When little Nathan De'Angelo puts on his Halloween costume this year, it won't be used for ungodly trick or treating. It will however, be used to put the fear of the Living God into any unsaved child that might pass his way. Mrs. Larry Rice, owner of the Biblical Costume Shop at The Landover Baptist Jesus Mall, Firearms Gallery and Food Court, says that the Holy Ghost Halloween costume is on back order. "We sold over 200 in one day," she said. "It is the most frightening costume I have ever seen, and when you add the blood, severed demon head and the giant axe, it enough to send a shiver down your spine!"
