The Hungarian Switchboard provides services for gay tourists before, during and after visits to Budapest. Information is available in the English, German and Hungarian languages.

Operating Times: 365 days a year, every afternoon from 4 until 8 pm (Middle European Time) including a telephone HOTLINE that provides extensive information to gay tourists might ask.

The switchboard team is now composed of three volunteers, Dani, Janos and Jean, but this group, say its founders, is expected to grow by taking on qualified and motivated people -- all fluent in the above mentioned languages.

* A continually updated and expanded Gay Guide on the Internet in English, German and Hungarian includes tips on the gay scene in Hungary as well as general tourist information.
