![]() According to Ovum, Inc., a European-based IT and telecom consulting company, by the year 2005, there will be close to half a billion mobile device users worldwide, with one-fifth of those users depending on their personal data assistants (PDAs) for information and entertainment. The company also estimates that revenues from such devices will exceed $200 billion dollars. PK Entertainment President, Kathryn Hudson says, "This market and technology is brand new. To keep pace with it, we're working hard to establish a presence now and stay on top of the technology as it takes shape. This isn't a good time to take a 'wait and see' attitude."
That's why Hudson is offering more than the standard Palm and CE-ready faire. Her development team has been working overtime creating a site that initially served up erotic stories. "That was a no-brainer," Hudson muses, "who wouldn't want to read something juicer than a newspaper on their morning or evening train commute?" After surfing other sites that were being offered to wireless users at AvantGo.com, Hudson and company decided to add other features that would be low-bandwidth but give the user something more. Now the company offers their risqué SinCards and will soon offer personals. Users can visit www.sinpalm.com on their desktop computers and add SinPalm to their AvantGo channels for synchronizing at AvantGo.com. Users can also visit www.sinpalm.com with handheld browsers, like ProxiWeb (www.proxinet.com) or using Pocket PC's Internet Explorer. Palm VII users can download the SinPalm PQA Web Clipping Application to enjoy adult entertainment anywhere and at anytime (visit www.sinpalm.com/webclip/sinpalmpqa.htm for details).
![]() PK Entertainment has lined up their first advertising partner, www.badpuppy.com, whose ad appears at the top of SinPalm.com. The gay and woman-oriented business is anxious to test the waters of what Hudson describes as "a most exciting time for the future of the Internet and wireless technology." |
