Attacked in Palm Beach

West Palm Beach, Florida--The Oral Majority of Palm Beach County, a newly formed chapter of a fast-growing national movement, has been stating publicly it suspects the County's Supervisor of Elections, Theresa LePore, of collaborating with Florida's Secretary of State, Katherine Harris, in a November 7 scheme that led to widespread voter disenfranchisement and “not to the election but to the illegal installation of George W. Bush.”

“While many people in our county have bought her innocence stance (Theresa LePore's) many of us know that her response to our disenfranchisement was not appropriate, likely to be indicative of something deeper that she is hiding. Now we understand more fully,” said a communiqué from Palm Beach Oral Majority to the Palm Beach Post.

On Sunday April 1, outside Theresa LePore's West Palm Beach offices 16 Floridians demanded the resignation of "Madam Butterfly Ballot for betraying America,"

Reaction from passers by was enthusiastic and positive. But as some of the protesters walked through a nearby sidewalk cafe, three were assaulted physically by an inebriated citizen accompanied by his parents, a twosome who joined him demanding that the protesters show Bush "respect as President" or "leave the country."
