Sister of transphobic politician who lost his seat to a trans woman has an epic burn for her brother

One of the biggest success stories of the local US elections was the first openly trans woman to be elected to state office.

It was even sweeter that Danica Roem, a Democrat, beat Republican candidate Bob Marshall who put forward a transphobic bathroom bill.

Virginia’s ‘chief homophobe’ lost his seat to a trans woman

Referring to him as Virginia’s ‘chief homophobe’, he arrogantly refused to debate Roem, and repeatedly attacked the LGBTI community.

During the election campaign, Marshall even referred to Roem using male pronouns.

But Roem, who was endorsed by former Vice President Joe Biden, won running on a platform of improving access to public services.

And now she will be in the seat for Virginia House of Delegates District 13.

Much was made of Roem’s composed (and hilarious) comment to Marshall after her historic win.

‘I don’t attack my constituents,’ Bob is my constituent now,’ Roem said.

Sister of transphobic politician has something to say…

And now, Paula Marshall Nucci has something to say to her brother.

‘He wouldn’t debate her, he wouldn’t call her “her” or “she”,’ she wrote on Facebook.

‘Maybe if he weren’t so judgmental and homophobic, he could have lost with dignity.

‘I’m not happy my brother lost his job, but all I can say is, karma brother.’
