Adam Rippon just hit the Oscars red carpet wearing a leather harness

Olympian and America’s favorite new gay sweetheart, Adam Rippon, has made a big statement at his Oscar’s red carpet debut by wearing a leather harness.

The 28-year-old hit the world’s most watched red carpet with his Olympics partner, Mirai Nagasu. They’re both there as guests of Access TV.

Rippon was the first openly gay Olympian to compete for the US at a Winter Olympics.

On the Oscars’ red carpet he wore a Moschino look created by designer Jeremy Scott.

The spotlight was shone on the figure skater ahead of this year’s Winter Olympics in Pyeognchang, because of his outspoken view on sexuality and US Vice President Mike Pence.
