Tucker Carlson says trans people are Christians’ “natural enemies” in doomsday rant

Just weeks after a Daily Wire host called for “eliminating transgenderism,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson described in apocalyptic terms that transgender people are the “natural enemy” of Christianity on his show last night in a rant about the Nashville school shooter, who is possibly transgender.

“The trans movement is the mirror image of Christianity and therefore its natural enemy,” he said.

Carlson was discussing the Nashville school shooting that took place on Monday where three children and three adults were killed at a Presbyterian school by a shooter who police have said was possibly transgender and who was a former student at the school. While the Gun Violence Archive reports that there have been 130 other mass shootings so far this year that were committed by cisgender people, many on the right have focused on the shooter’s possible identity to take attention away from the fact that the shooter carried two “assault-style” guns and a handgun into the school with the intent of killing children.
